Added more explanation, but I thought the comparison would help people
who know those programs. It's not too important.

Personally, I don't like to scroll through the copyright notices, but
I don't have any real objection to doing this.

BTW, I added some "thank yous" to the release and put names to the new
translations. I wanted to highlight the notable and new efforts, but
should I have erred on the side of not leaving anyone out? We can list
all the updated translations with translators, I just don't know all
of them :).

I figure the last thing we should do is make sure that *everyone* gets
properly credited in the About dialog, and then we can release.
