Hey !

We are a young startup and we recently launched a community website:
Streetpage.com. Our goal is simple: encourage people to get to know each
other in their street and stimulate them to do/share things together. "You
maybe have a Facebook friend list of 300 people and a messenger buddy list
of 50, but you don't even know the family living 10 meters away from you !
Just use Streetpage and start real life socialization !"

The beta version was launched in september 2010 and had very positive
spontaneous press coverage everywhere in Belgium (see bottom of this mail).
Most important, bloggers and users had also a very positive feedback on this
initiative generating a lot of suggestions and new ideas to implement. The
team (we're 3) is now actively focusing on raising funds and first feedbacks
are very promising. In order to move forward and continue to give our
subscribers the best tool to animate their street, we are actively looking
for a developer ninja to join the team !

Our ninja should be a Ruby guru and be able to maintain/develop current
website while handling its administration. A good knowledge of PHP is a
plus. In return, we will not offer multi digit salary nor the company car of
your dream (until funds will be raised at least ;) but the opportunity to
join a young dynamic team working on a promising project. Depending of your
talent and commitment, company shares will be offered in return of your
work.

So, think you might be our ninja guy/girl ?

I recently worked on the benchmark library with a
few ideas I'd like to present. This would be a
lightning talk with a brainstorming at the end. 	


* Pro Tip : embed a styleguide in your web app (30 min.) 	(FrondEnd)
  (by @alainravet)

Once you start hacking your css, you step into
"complete-mess" territory. This talk will show
you a very simple technique to ensure unity
and homogeneity, and help you refactory/cleanup
all those hacks out of your stylesheets.
