From apotonick at gmail.com Sat Sep 19 10:39:53 2009 From: apotonick at gmail.com (Nick Sutterer) Date: Sat, 19 Sep 2009 16:39:53 +0200 Subject: [Cells-talk] Cells site updated, german article about cells in the RailsWay 5.2009 Message-ID: hey friends, having more time for open-source now, i worked on the cells page at http://cells.rubyforge.org/ and added a better example about cells' applications. i hope it's easier now for people new to cells to get the point about it. i rewrote the introducing texts, if you have any improvements, send them in! for those interested in the cms behind it: rubyforge doesn't allow dynamic content, so i desperately was looking for some small cms that generates static html in the end. i found it: StaticMatic, that's at http://staticmatic.rubyforge.org/ and is 100% ruby, haml, and sass. for the germans on this list: the RailsWay magazine (issue 5.2009) published a 7-pages article i wrote about Rails Cells. unfortunately you have to buy the mag, since they don't have an online version, but it's worth... happy hacking, hope to hear from you guys, cheers, nick
