I've received several out of band RSVPs so currently I'm expecting 4-5 people (but it may be just me and irb.rb for company). No firm agenda except to get a sense of community, interest level, and available resources. I imagine as we get a sense of interest we'll be able to plan a bit more, maybe arrange for talks, etc. Folks are encouraged to bring questions, news, and show and tell. You're still welcome to come even if you haven't RSVP'ed yet. Oh, and I'll be the guy with beard and pony tail, and the PickAxe book out on the table. - Daniel P.S. John: thanks for organizing such a great meetup with DHH .. and BTW can you please share the pictures of the group? StikiGroup LLC announced the launch of PatentMojo, the first and only patent search and organization tool hosted entirely on the web. With patents stretching across many industries, the tool allows an organization to keep "watchlists" of search terms that are automatically updated on a daily basis from the official United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) database. With these watchlists, users can specify search criteria as specific or as broad as needed. With no applications to install than the standard web-browser, PatentMojo renders itself accessible from anywhere, allowing for constant, updated information about the strategic direction of specific companies or entire industries. However, more than just a business intelligence tool, PatentMojo allows both individuals and companies to save time from repeating searches with the USPTO website, therefore weeding out irrelevant content from the abundance of patents visible within the official database. The PatentMojo engine is written with Ruby on Rails, an open-source application that allows seamless integration between databases and content delivery. The system can easily be customized by the user to organize searches and patent data, and with such features as standardized RSS feeds, helps integrate itself into existing workflows. More information about the engine, including demonstrations and access to the free 7-day trial can be found on the PatentMojo website at http://www.patentmojo.com. Can we pleeease get this list's configuration changed so the sender's address is in the From line, and the list is in Reply-To? The current configuration nearly completely hides any clue of who sent a particular message unless the author includes a signature! -- Ryan Platte -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
