We have our first volunteer for a lightning talk, and it is a bit unusual.
Corey Haines is on a tour of Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and Indiana, and
wherever he goes he'll be meeting people and pair programming.
http://www.coreyhaines.com/tour2008/ Corey just happens to be in town
during our meeting and he's agreed to give a brief synopsis of the tour
and the future goals for it, then a quick lightning talk on the chain of
command gem he's working on. Awesome! Thanks Corey!
The idea of a pair programming tour is interesting to me. Historically,
many crafts and trades have encouraged moving from one town to another to
gain the experience of different workshops. Why not programming?

cool.
PS. I'm adding the dec. meeting to our google calendar in just a little
while.
PEACE!
