Hi
This is my first poting on the list. Please excuse me if this has bug
has already been resolved. However its not fixed in the code as I
checked out the latest copy sometime back. (rest inline)

This is happening when you do something like
<% remote_form_for Comment.new, :url=>comment_url(:canvas=>false),
:update=>'all_comments' do |f|%>
<%= f.text_area :comment %>
.....
<%end-%>
This passes a javascript object (Comment object) to
encodeURIComponent(str) which is expecting a string. Therefore an
error is raised.
If you use <%=text_area_tag :comment%>, then it works as expected. I
verified this by using breakpoints in firebug. I am not very
proficient in javascript so I cannot come up with a patch.
Hope this helps
Regards
Prateek
