Hobix 0.4 useless with Ruby 1.8.5?

Hi folks--

I'm a generally late adopter, using Hobix 0.3b on ruby 1.8.2 
(2004-12-25), Windows XP Home. Until today, when I got really hungry for 
the tagging functions that were added in Hobix 0.4, but decided I should 
probably upgrade Ruby while I was at it.

Installed v1.8.5 (2006-08-25) [i386-mswin32], then Hobix 0.4.127 via gem 
install hobix -r --source http://code.whytheluckystiff.net. The gem 
install seemed fine. 'hobix blogs' works, and shows me all of my 
previously existing blogs. 'hobix create' is also fine, although it 
might abort early:

*** Joining blog `a bokononist asks', adding you as author.
** Edit aborted

This may be because I don't have EDITOR set in the environment, can't 
remember for sure.

Anyway, the problem is that I get an error when parsing any blog's 
hobix.yaml:

This happens with any blog, either newly created or previously existing.

Does anyone have 0.4 working with Ruby 1.8.5, or should I try the 0.5 
alpha from SVN?
