This is actually a RedCloth/Textile thing; in Textile, you can't put a
line break between the < and > of any HTML tag. (You can split mixed
_content_ across multiple lines, just not the opening or closing tag
itself.)
Depending on what you mean by "auto-fill", it might be best for you to
create a new entry class which uses raw HTML rather than Textile markup
for its content. I can show you how to do that if you like.
