.... turns out to also imply ruby 1.8.5 or later, so we should probably make
that clear in the release info.  I'd been running on 1.8.4 because that's
what the hosting service I'm deploying my app was still at and after syncing
all the recent masterview changes this morning to work on my parser error
msg bug i found out i needed to move up to 1.8.5.  1.8.4 had REXM 3.1.3 in
it.
 
[so i spent the morning upgrading ruby and gems rather than working on the
fix, oh well, will try to get to that this evening]

arrgghh. I didn't realize that 1.8.4 had rexml 3.1.3, figured would have
been updated by then. Guess not.

I know what you mean though, upgrades and versions can have you pull your
hair out.

Well no worries. We'll get there.
