SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Building Safety Solutions, Inc. (BSS) is the leading provider of
emergency preparedness, life safety products and building evaluation
services to private and public markets throughout the United States.
BSS has revolutionized the emergency preparedness training industry
and related services by integrating superior knowledge and expertise
in life safety, security, and building engineering systems with the
latest technologies. Our client list includes the most prominent and
prestigious building owners, capital investors, and top 100
corporations in the U.S. Presently we are seeking a full-time Software
Engineer in Pasadena, California.
The ideal candidate will be able to be pick up new programming
languages quickly and comfortable working with a variety of
technologies.  Most of our work involves Ruby on Rails, with a new
product being developed that will include a C# Windows client.  You
will work as part of a small, agile team and be involved in all phases
of the product lifecycle, from refining initial requirements to
designing and implementing the product to helping with support after
it is launched.  We believe in unit testing, automated builds, and
developing in short iterations to get working code into the hands of
our customers as quickly as possible.

Requirements:
•	3-5 years experience
•	B.S. Computer Science, or equivalent
•	Desired: Ruby or C#, HTML, CSS, Flash
•	Action-oriented and have a sense of urgency
•	Possess strong organization skills
•	Have the ability to manage/coordinate several projects concurrently
•	Team player a must
