A good friend of mine recommended I approach this group, based on what we're looking for in terms of skill set. Our company does retail software - with a focus on defining how retailers will make the move to mobility. We have a ton of momentum right now and are set for our next explosive growth in 2012. Here's a bit about the job opp: - We have a variety of mobile platforms we are building out our products on. We have strong developers in Objective C, .NET (VB and C#) and Java. We also have an HTML client that we are looking to boost our staff on. - We are looking to find someone with a strong background in HTML, including CSS, JavaScript, and Ajax. We are looking to use a MVC pattern for the JavaScript. - If anyone is aware of someone looking for a position that is a strong HTML developer please let me know. I can also provide any additional information needed. - Company website is www.sntinc.com Anyone who is interested, please reply and copy Zac Tunstall (cc'd here in this email). There's definitely more to share on the opportunity - just trying to give the initial info here. The need is immediate - we're currently in the process of interviewing. Take Care, ..Jeff.. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... We'll start with Ruby and start with the basics. Then we'll move to networked applications with Sinatra, Rack, and finally Rails. We'll cover tools like Git, gems, rvm, bundler, and so on, that are a part of the Ruby and Rails ecosystems. You'll gain an introduction to a variety of tools, and a large portion of the Ruby and the Ruby on Rails ecosystem. This is a great opportunity to bootstrap yourself (or your team!) into this space. Space is limited, and some scholarship money is available. http://rolemodelsoftware.com/events Jared -- Jared Richardson http://AgileArtisans.com http://RoleModelSoftware.com http://twitter.com/JaredRichardson (919)760-79085 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Message-ID: We have a client who is considering writing a wrapper to QlikView's API so they can write Cucumber tests against it. They are looking for input from someone who has wrapped an API before and what your experience might be. Depending on what your experience and what you are available to do, could result in anything from a 15 minute conversation to some paid hands-on development work. Contact me if you have the experience and think you can help in that range of possibilities. Thanks, Ken -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... You've got to want work in our environment with our team for the vast majority of the work and like pair-programming. Currently, I am looking for at least two people starting as soon as possible (which may be next week or next month... we can wait until the kind of people we want are available... we'd rather turn away the work than hire the wrong people) and going through May, June or beyond on a contract with the possibility of it going longer or turning into something more permanent. If you are only looking for something more permanent, that's fine, too... You can be "junior" or "senior" (I could probably used one or two of each) but I'm not interested for these positions to have to introduce you to Rails. You should have had at least one Rails project under your belt. I'm looking for people who want to be a part of the premiere Software Craftsmanship shop which is RoleModel Software. If that's you, and you have some Rails experience (and want more), let's talk soon. Drop me a note, or call my cell phone.
