Well at lest you can use killall instead of parsing the output of ps :)

Surely you can fire up putty and enter the command interactively., but
that is not what you want.
I am quite sure it can be used in "batch" mode, but It's been a long
time since I used putty, so I'm sorry I can't help more :/
