Hi

I'm pleased to announce the release of Weft QDA version 0.9.6. It's 
available now on the website (http://www.pressure.to/qda/). New features 
and improvements in this release include:

- category names can now be in non-latin scripts, eg Chinese
- coded text is highlighted in document and category windows
- new code review tool to compare coding of multiple categories
- faster coding and rearranging of categories
- interface improvements for Windows & Linux
- updated and expanded documentation
- new installer
- fixed numerous bugs

Based on feedback from users, I think Weft QDA is usable and complete 
enough to be useful for a range of projects. I am hoping that version 
0.9.7 will be the last version before I release version 1.0. I'd value 
your feedback on any problems with 0.9.6, or any missing features that 
you think must be included in version 1.0, or anything you'd like to see 
in future versions so that I can plan ahead.

Hi ronggui

Thanks for the error report; it really helps the software's development 
to receive info on problems, esp on different operating systems. The 
Linux version is currently less polished than the Windows version.

I'm going to move this thread to the Weft mailing list 
(weft-qda-users@rubyforge.org). There is also an online bug-submission 
form for Weft QDA at
http://rubyforge.org/tracker/?atid=2625&group_id=665&func=browse

which any Weft user is very welcome to use.
