I am unable to reproduced these problems with gem 1.5.0.945. Has anyone else
been able to reproduce these problems?

Mattias, can you please provide us with the specific errors that you are
getting. You shouldn't have a manually copy files. I suggest you uninstall
and reinstall. I am concerned that you are getting a mix of old and new
files.
