I was hoping just to avoid window clicking altogether.  The entire app
only has one popup dialog, and this is it.   I've been doing intensive
Web Services SOAP  testing, where Basic Auth Just Works.  I was hoping
to just sneak around the one lonesome logon popup, without hacking on
the server.
